nanny share in N16

Due to our nanny share little boy starting nursery we are looking for another family to share our wonderful nanny from January. Our daughter is two and a half. Times and days are flexible depending on your needs. Both children have a great time with our nanny who has worked in Stoke Newington for over eight years. She has a great knowledge of the local area as she lives locally. Our daughter enjoys singing, dancing and art as well as lots of friends made through the nannyshare. All the childrens food is cooked from source. CRB checked, excellent references.

I'm a bit new to the idea of nanny shares, but would the nanny have both children at once or look after each child on different days? We are N16 and looking primarily for the latter. Could we email to discuss? Thanks!

orangestories, I'm looking for the same thing - ie a part time nanny. I'm based in e5, not far away. Possible we could share?

Hello nightnighty. I'm just exploring a potential nanny at the mo, so will get back to you early next week if that's OK. - Didn't want to ignore your post! Orange.

Depends on the no of days you would like. We currently share the days so our nanny has two children. This works well as my daughter is our only child and she has got a lot out of their friendship! I currently use 3.5 days but am flexible with days so happy to chat further.

Hi Orange, Clissold

I'm not opposed to the idea of sharing a nanny's days with another child. My boy is an only child too Clissold, but he's only 6 months and I don't think he'd be great company for a 2.5 year old. What would you say? Does your nanny have another 1.5 days in her week that she's looking to fill? How old is your child Orange?

What I'm looking for is a long term commitment whatever the arrangement. I would like the nanny to be able to come to our house a bit, at least at first while DS gets used to someone else while I'm working in another room. I'm not going back to work until May so I can be flexible on the number of days etc until then. By the summer I'm hoping for 3 days a week.

Keep me posted if something might be arranged.
