Meeting Local Mums Blackheath/Greenwich

Hi all,

My name is Cheryl and my daughter is 11 weeks old. I've been rubbish at getting out and about to clubs and groups mainly because i'm a big old fraidy cat and find it hard to "make" friends (you would never guess I'm 30). So with that in mind would anyone like to meet for a cup of tea (coffee is allowed of course). I'm free most days, I'm new to mumsnet so bare with me if I don't get this right first time...

Or if I can crash someone elses group that would be lovely too.

Thanks for reading

Hi Cheryl,

My daughter is 12 weeks now, Ive been a bit reluctant to go to the mums groups too! Have you found any groups to go to since posting this? Pleasse let me know if so. Otherwise, if you would like to meet up for a coffee that would be lovely.

Best wishes
Molly.

Hi all,

I'm due to give birth on 15th Feb but think I'll go overdue...would be great to meet up with you all when you do if ok? I'm a first time mum & don't really know what to expect! I live in Lee so hopefully not too far, I don't really know any new mums in the area & need to join a group or something?!

Thanks

Donna :)

Theres a coffee shop which runs every Friday afternoon in the hall at St. Michaels in Blackheath Village (corner of Pond rd/Blackheath Park), its specifically aimed at Mums with babies/toddlers & theres a large play area to keep them entertained whilst you enjoy a cuppa & homemade cake. Its open 1.30pm-4pm during term-time.

I`ve found it a great place to meet other mums.
