I am an OFSTED registered Childminder and I have completed all the relevant training, Safeguarding Young Children, Early Years Foundation Stage for Home Based Childcare Providers, Introduction to Childcare for Practitioners and I have a full Paediatric First Aid Certificate and hold valid insurance.
My home is on a quiet road in Woolwich close to the Army Barracks which allows for easy travel to either Woolwich Dockyard or Woolwich Arsenal with free parking available on adjacent streets. I do a school run to Cardwell Primary School.
I have a lovely home full of toys and books for stimulation and learning with lots of space and a garden with outdoor toys and a sand pit. As well as structured activities, we attend play groups at least 3 times a week at different local libraries and children's centres plus planned outings to parks, farms and local woods. I believe that children learn and gain confidence through experiences and independence, my aim is to provide a safe and loving environment that encourages this.
All meals are well balanced, nutritional and home cooked.
