Meeting French speaking mums-Blackhall

Bonjour ! I am French Canadian and I live in Blackhall, Edinburgh. I have a newborn little girl called Mia. I am hoping to meet mums in the area and have regular meets up. Also, I was wondering if any of you, know of french speaking meeting groups. I would like for Mia to grow up learning both her parents mother-tongue languages; french and english. Thanks !

Don't know if they'll be able to help, but the French Institute in Randolph Crescent is a bit of a Francophile powerhouse, with loads of cultural stuff, and educational resources (I think including a library). It's not that far from you. Their website is www.ifecosse.org.uk. They should be able to point you in the right direction.

Salut! Je suis aussi québecoise et j'habite à Edinburgh depuis 3 an on and off. J'ai une petit de 11 mois et je suis enceinte d'un garçon qui devrait arriver début juin. J'ai beaucoup de misère à trouver des mamans qui partagent les mêmes opinions que moi en ce qui a trait à l'éducation de ma puce et qui se retrouvent dans la même tranche d'âge que moi plus ou moins! Je trouve qu'ici les femmes ont leur enfants ou bien très jeunes ou bien plutôt vieilles! Écris-moi si tu as envie d'aller prendre un café, d'aller à la piscine ou autre. J'habite Leith Walk.
