Hi all,

I'm doing a uni project about Barburrito, the Mexican fast food restaurant (www.barburrito.co.uk/). I really wanted some views from mums who've eaten there.

If you've eaten there or know someone who has, could you tell me:

  • Why you choose to eat there? as in anything that makes you want to go there instead of to, say mcdonalds or pizza hut etc.
  • Do your children like it? Why do they like it?
  • What do you think of the decor? Do you think it is family friendly?
  • Would you recommend it to other families, and why?

Please feel free to add anything you want to say about Barburrito in general, i.e. pricing, customer service. I'm sure it will all be useful at some point. Thank You in advance.

i took my daughter (2.5) there once and was quite impressed. Good wholesome food and veggie options (we are a vegetarian family) and crayons/colouring sheet/balloon provided for children. Food was really tasty and a nice change from the usual fast-food that is generally on offer

We have been many times and our little four year old LOVES it, because of the food, the atmosphere and most of all the balloons (which are actually really annoying because they fall off the stick every five seconds, but never mind). The decor is great for kids, really distinctive but not tacky like McDonalds. We go because the menu is so much healthier than other fast food places (we are also veggie), but here's a tip for Mrs Mackie: don't order the quesadilla - mine had chicken in it! Didn't go for about a year after that, especially since I had a battle to get a refund off them.
