Hi

I'm a 27 year old woman - due in Feb, wanting to meet other ladies to share stories, worries and excitement with (fed up of watching baby channels and reading 'Mother & Baby' mag). Lots of friends but none with children/planning to have any soon!

Hope to hear from you soon.

Emma

Hi Emma,

I am 28 and pregnant with my first, not due until July though so am a fair bit behind you. Like you, none of my friends in London have children yet so would love someone to share stories with. I am in Stoke Newington. Would love to meet up for a coffee if you are interested.

Hi Emma and Kerry:) I'm also due with my first in July:o
I'm in Dalston and I have a couple of friends in the area who've had children but my partner and I have agreed to keep quiet about the pg until 12 weeks... and it's killing me! It would be great just to be able to get excited/share nerves!

Hello, I'm in Walthamstow if anyone wants to meet up. Am also due in July and have not told anyone yet.

Am 31 and am way ahead of my friends so have no one to compare notes with.

Hi all, not sure how I found myself here- as I've had mine last year (June) but just wanted to let those of you know in Dalston/Stoke Newington that Jessica James runs some great mother and baby groups -antenatal and postnatal if you are looking for some local connections. I've met 8 other women who all had their babies around same time as me there and they are a really great support group for me.

Good luck!

Thanks jumpinghoops, found the website - keen to check out the yoga when the time comes.

Hi ladies,

Sorry I haven't been on for awhile - have had a terrible cold and that, mixed with morning sickness has left me unable to move from the sofa for a number of days!

Should we try to organise to meet up sometime soon?

I work in Camden and live in Stoke Newington so am pretty flexible in terms of location. There are lots of nice new coffee shops popping up in Dalston.

Looking forward to meeting up!

Riddzy · 08/12/2010 11:54

I'd love to meet up! Feel free to PM me :)

knasher29 · 08/12/2010 16:47

Wow - I hadn't looked for ages - I didn't think I would get so many responses! Great stuff. How about next Saturday afternoon @ a coffee shop on Church Street, Stoke Newington (11th December)? Any suggestions?

Anyone who's up for it, give me an email directly at [email protected]

Thanks
Emma, x

Hi everybody,

I have only just joined mumsnet and saw this post. I am also due in July with my first baby (I had my first scan yesterday). Let me know if you all met up as I would love to join in next time.

I am 33 and based in Dalston/Stoke Newington. Was also planning to go to this prenatal yoga class in new year www.yogahome.com/pregnancy.php
If anyone fancies joining me

Kate

Hi,

I just came across these posts as with many things I have been very late in signing up! I am just on mat leave from work waiting for baby which is due on the 27th Jan - eek.

Have working friends around the area but realising I don't know any mums or mums to be or even much of what is going on locally at all... and would be great to catch up with others to swap notes etc. or just to get out the house!

This is my first baby (and I will be 32 next week). I am suffering badly with SPD so am currently hobbling about, but figure I can make it to church street or somewhere local for coffee (and probably some kind of cake;)

If anyone fancies getting in touch email is [email protected] as realise I missed the boat on the december catch up...

Lucy
