Hi I've recently moved to bath. I'm looking for playmates and good toddler groups for my daughter who is 16 months old. I'm a sahm at the mo, so any day is good :)

I've left the toddler years way, way behind me, but Walcot Toddlers was a real institution - had been going for years when ds was tiny years ago. Definately worth a trip.

Whereabout do you live? It's a short walk along Walcot Street from town, just past Hudsons (aka The Hat & Feather).

These people used to do walks for parents and toddlers. Worth getting in touch with them I think, they're lovely people and the DCs have an absolute blast.

Quite a few Bath parents and toddlers go here, too.

Lots of things seem to go on at the New Oriel Hall, here

Would second Walcot Toddlers - really nice big, light room, nice toys and some friendly mums. Have a friend who goes to Widcombe toddlers, not sure where it is or what days, but should be easy to find out from local listings magazine (Grapevine, I think it's called) - can get it from the library and lots of other places, has all the toddler groups listed.

Hi MrsEGi, I've moved back to Bath recently too (to Bear Flat, where are you?). I grew up here but moved away after school. I have a ds and dd at school and a nearly one year old ds and am a sahm at the moment too. I like the sound of the Walcot toddler group. Do you fancy meeting up there one weds or fri?

Hello ladies - if you're looking for great musical activities, I run the local Jo Jingles franchise - link here. We run 5 days a week in various locations around town. Docket - your closest one is St Barts on a Friday - I'm in Bear Flat too.

There are quite a lot of sources of info for groups in the library and there are a few free magazines around too. There's loads going on.
