Motivating Mum has arrived in Balham!
Life coach, Alli Price, started Motivating Mum in Wimbledon 4 years ago wanting to help mums start or grow their own businesses. In this time, she has invited inspirational speakers to tell their story, give advice and help mums understand they can do it too. These speakers have been a great example of women who have realised incredible goals while all the time balancing these achievements with family and other business interests. We are now going to bring many of these inspirational speakers to Balham!
Launch event is on Friday, November 19, 2010:
Businessmums? Networking (Light) Lunch, with Boo Danby, founder of Bertie and Boo
- Where: Café du Village, 11 Bellevue Road, Wandsworth Common, SW17 7EG
- Time: 11:30 to 2:30
- Price: £14.50. Light lunch including water, tea and coffee
- Description: We are chuffed to have Boo Danby coming to speak to us. She founded Bertie & Boo with her brother and is also the owner of the lovely coffee shop we have all visited on Balham High Road. She is going to talk about us about how she went about to start her own company, how she made her idea into a money making business, including branding, finding clients, growing, juggling with being a mum and the hurdles she had to overcome to make it happen.
Due to the nature of being Mums ? babies are allowed! That said, Mums will
need to leave the room if a baby is disrupting the talk or the lunch, although I?m sure this would be the case I still need to say it ? sorry!
