Hello,
My name is Omri(30), I am an Israeli student who just arrived to London about a month ago. I am attending an MSc program in UCL - Psychoanalysis Development Psychology. One of our tasks during this program is to observe the development of a new born in his natural family setting. The observation requirements includes one hour a week during the first 6-9 months of the baby?s life. Moreover, this course includes a group of five students and a developmental psychologist supervisor who will guide us during the year.
Let me just specify that this observation should take place ones a week at the mother natural setting, and its purpose is to learn about the NORMAL developmental processes of a new born and the interaction of the dyads,
By the end of this course a presentation will be given about - the links between the observations with regards to different aspects of development theories.
Please let me know if you are interested in volunteering for this unique experience
Best wishes
Omri Weiss

Hello, I am Shetal and I am currently doing my Doctorate from the Tavistock Institute . I am a female and live in Northwest London currently undertaking an infant observation module and as a part of the module I am required to observe an infant for 1 hour a week for about 6 months from around the 2nd week of the baby?s life.
The objective is to observe the development of a new born baby, starting from as early as their birth, understanding their early journey through life, their being in the world, their relationship to their mother and with the environment. This observation would help me understand human development and what we all go through at the very start of our journey as human beings.

The Observation would require for me to sit in a corner - not intruding or judging - simply observing the baby and noticing how the baby relates to the world around them.

I can provide you a letter of reference from Tavistock.
If you are a mother of a new born or expecting a baby soon and I request you to consider this. I can meet up and explain in details if you have any anxieties. If you are not interested could you forward to anybody you know maybe interested.
