Mr. Yung Nuffield

Hi,

My son is being referred for glue ear. I am lucky enough to have BUPA through work so we are going down the private route. Unfortunately our local private hosp, the Oaks, will not see him until he is 3(he is 2 1/2) . I have managed to get an appointment at Nuffield Hospital in Ipswich with a Mr. Yung who does deal with under 3s. I wondered if anyone on here had had any dealings with him?

He's meant to be really good (I've worked at Ipswich hospital) - he has an international reputation in fact. I think you and your son will be in safe hands.

I remember him from when I worked at Ips hosp several years ago as a recovery room nurse. He maybe doesn't have the best bedside manner, but is a skilled and safe surgeon.
