Fulham/Putney meet

My wife and I moved from Glasgow to Fulham over 3 years ago, our daughter was born in Jan 2010.

We'd like to meet families in the area in order to give our daughter some playmates, our friends and work colleagues either don't have kids or live too far away.

Putney and Fulham NCT do a Wednesday Club in Fulham on Wednesday afternoons and you don't need to be an NCT member to go - email [email protected] for details.

(I am in Putney but my existing children are older and DC3 will be over a year younger than your daughter. I have heard good things about the Wednesday thing, though (planning to try going with DD2 once she arrives)).

The P&F NCT group also has a monthly "working mothers group" that meets one evening -- that would be a good way to meet other parents in the area (I don't have the details of that as I let my membership lapse).

Is your daughter at nursery or with a childminder/nanny? Almost all of our local friends with chidren the same age, and children who ours see regularly, came from nursery, and children who had nannies tend to make friends through activities like Gymboree or Monkey Music.

My DP's from Glasgow! We're in Wandsworth - St John's Hill area - just past Putney.

Sadly no DCs yet so can't really help!
