Newlands Corner - is access restricted at night?

Hi, we're planning a late night visit to Newlands Corner (to watch fireworks as ds can't do the noise etc) but I was wondering if it actually closes? IE does it gates that close at night or does anyone know if you can get in at all times?

I think access will be open. It may resemble 'Crufts' though at night

That's a good idea! I live not far from there but I am sorry I don't know if they close the gate. However there is a reasonable length of driveway before the gate so I am sure you could park there anyway.
