We were supposed to be consulted - except nobody told us that we were being consulted. Which doesn't seem very democratic to me.

Anyway, it's important. Please have a look.

Blardy hell, first I've heard of it... Somehow that doesn't surprise me.

Talking of local council/democracy (lack of) etc, there's a demo against the cuts outside the Guildhall on the 16th Nov, 5.30pm. Big council meeting taking place then to vote on how to implement the 28% cuts they have to make - at the moment they're looking at cutting Youth Service by 40% and, of course the PCT is going, plus they're considering outsourcing lots of services.

My main issue would be deciding what to protest about. I'd have to make myself an enormous banner

Just borrow a line from Henry Root: 'I wish to protest most strongly about everything.'
