Anyone know what's happening at Balfour school?

Hi,
We're about to apply for primary schools in Brighton. We're really close to Balfour so I'm planning to put that first. But I'm a bit worried about disruption next year as I've heard it's merging into an all through primary school and both the current head teachers are leaving this year.
Does anyone know what's going on there?
We're working overseas at the moment so can't ask anyone.

Apparently it looks like it's going to happen. Don't know about head teachers leaving though. Either way the decision about the merge will be announced before the school applications are due in.

It is merging - announced last week.

Both heads were due to leave last summer but infants head is staying till Easter now and Junior head till Christmas as they couldn't start advertising for a new head until the merger is confirmed.

They will now get in one new head of the all-through primary.
