Can anyone help me please? Need local insight on nursery places in Sydenham/Forest Hill area

Hi,
We're in the process of planning a move from the Isle of Dogs down to the Sydenham area. I really would love to talk to someone who knows about schools with nursery provision in the area. Specifically, how hard is it to get places and the catchment areas etc. In the Isle of Dogs some schools fill up within 70m of the school gates and I'm trying to work out if it's just as bad in Sydenham!

There's only one ofstead rated excellent school with a nursery in Sydenham that I know of and that's Eliot Bank. It does have a fairly small catchment area - you can put your child's name down for the nursery from when they are 2 and a half but a nursery place doesn't guarantee a place at the primary school.
