Thought I'd best introduce myself before chiming in on topics :) I'm Paula, I'm 26 and I live in Airdrie with my fiance and our three kids. Number 4 is due in April. I'm a writer and SAHM.

Hi there LadyLucifer.

If you are interested, there is a Scottish Mumsnet Christmas meet-up over inE dinburgh on 4 December (meet-up at Whighams mid afternoon, and then meal) and a bunch of us going over from Glasgow on the train. Although I am an "old-timer", for others, it will be their first meet-up :)

Details over here

Goodo :)

BTW - my dh has the misfortune of being a football Airdrie supporter Hmm. Used to have a season ticket before he decided that football Airdrie on a Saturday followed by ds' rugby on a Sunday, which he had started helping to coach at, was too much.

Did you bully him into rugby in the hope that this would be the case prettybird? [hwink]

If so, good on you!

And Hi LadyLucifer [hgrin]

No deathjeff: football was what dh followed from a young boy, but as soon as he knew better/went to secondary school and learnt what a superior sport rugby was ("a hooligan's game played by gentlemen" and all that Wink), rugby has been his preferred sport.

We started ds at rugby in P1 in the hope of avoiding the West of Scotland bias towards football. We thought we'd failed 'cos of peer pressure at primary school, but now, by P6, he definitely prefers rugby :)
