Thursdays

Have been a single mum for 1 year now and have decided to get off my backside and look for something to do on a Thursday evening when my ds is at his dads. Unfortunately I cannot find any evening classes, book groups etc on this night. Would like to meet new people, try new things, but nothing too scary as confidence has been dented from the split. Any ideas or suggestions would be much appreciated. :)

Whereabouts are you looking for?

And good for you! x

How about trying Salsa beginner classes?

I tied looking up Ceroc or Leorc for you, as they are both good ways of doing fun, easy-to-learn dancing that you don't feel out of place at as a single, but there don't seem to be any sessions on a Thursday.

Actually - I quite facny that Salsa class myself, but as dh is getting his knee operated on on Tuesday, I don't think it would be politic to go Wink

There used to be a book club in Whiteinch library on Thursday nights though not sure if its still on. Check with your local library as I inly found this group by accident.
