Family friendly pub/restaurant New Forest area?

Any recommendations please? 2 families going out for tea in an unknown area - would like to be West side of Southampton, preferably not too far away from Soton! TIA

I've eatnen there before and thought the food was lovely plus they have a lovely kids outdoor play area ( maybe not so great for winter )

Also I've eaten at the the hungry horse in totton its cheap and chearful but I found the food to be excellent .

The Mill at the top end of Lyndhurst (just after the Pennyfarthing B&B. Indoor play area, 2 adult meals for a tenner, huge. Food chain-pubbish but worth having for a bit of peace and quiet from the kids!
