Mum and baby groups in cardiff

Hi I'm a first time mum to a 10 week old baby and want to find out about friendly mother and baby groups in the canton or central Cardiff area. I've seen information on mother and toddler groups - for instance in canton community centre - but I'm not sure if my baby would be too young to take along to those. Anyone got any good recommendations?

There is a good mother and toddler group in Cathays held in the Highfields Church Centre which is open to all ages. It's on a Thursday 10 - 11.30 or 1.30 - 3pm. I went for several years (Dc's too old now and I'm back in work). It can be quite busy and I think the afternoon session is quieter. Also in Cathays is Cafe Junior which is a play centre/Starbucks type place which is nice. Most toddler groups welcome babies of all ages as they are used to catering for younger siblings iyswim.
