Anyone know a good hairdresser?

Am looking for a good hairdresser who can tackle my colour and cut which even DH says looks "awful" (!)

Can anyone recommend anything in Glasgow? Living in Paisley but have access to car as well as the usual trains / bus etc.

I have only lived here a year, so not sure where to try.

Thanks

i normally dye my hair myself but have seen them dye other peoples hair and its been lovely, i would stress dont go with anyone barr the owner or the other lady, and i forgot to ask dp what her name was again, sorry,

for a wash, cut and blow dry its £15 yes £15 which i think is amazing, espeically as they spend an hour doing my hair, cause its so long, so get it washed, cut, dryed, straightened, have had it curled etc before to

im very funny about who i let near my hair and i did once like a fool go with someone else in hair cartel cause i needed the app, and the stoopid wee beep messed it up so bad, went back and seen the owner and had to get so much cut off, i was in tears the whole time, so PLEASE dont go with anyone else.

i hope that helps x

If you've got young kids, I know someone who does home hairdressing and will trim young kids hair for free at same time. Not as cheap as the Thornliebank option though! Her charge is £30. No idea whether she colours though as I never bother, and I don't like the way she dries my hair but the cut always works out fine. She used to work in a city centre salon, and was recommended to me by a friend whose whole family now gets their hair done by her (her, DH and her mum and kids!).
