Do any of you are able to spare some time, and want to give back to the community? We need volunteers to be Trustees for Southampton Women's Aid.
This is such an important local charity - domestic abuse is so prevalent and SWA offers a non-judgmental support service, from a helpline, through to active support for women and children to leaving an abusive relationship.
As a Trustee you will help guide the organisation. The time commitment is a few hours a month (mostly from home, with one meeting a month in person) - and it is so rewarding.
