Whats on in October for children aged 4-8?

I'm thinking of coming down to visit grandparents during the October school hols (we get 11 days off in the Highlands), and am trying to find out whats on in the Glasgow/Renfrewshire areas between 11th and 23rd Oct.

Can anyone point me in the right direction towards a list of whats on for children?
I've looked on the science centre website, but nothing grabs me.

Any ideas gratefully received, there's loads on up here so don't really want to drag the dcs away, but feel I should visit the GPs with them

The science centre is brill - well worth a visit, you could spend the whole day there, the kids would love it.

Xscape? Can work out quite pricey though.

If weather nice - trip down to Largs?

Heads of Ayr farm at Ayr?

Whitlees visitor centre at the windfarm

Kelvingrove museum

Pollock Park

Almond Vale heritage centre over at Livingston if you want to travel

Blair drummond is still open til end of Oct

Loch Lomond

This website is quite good?
