Moving to Gosport ..advice please

Hi Ladies,
We are relocating to Gosport in November /December for my husbands work.
Could you please let me know what schools to look at for DS for YR1 and also preschools for DS2 .
I'll like to know ones to put his name down for and ones to avoid.
We are going to rent and haven't found anywhere yet but aren't too worried as the job offer has only just come through so haven't looked properly.
If you know any decent letting agents that don't charge stupidly high fees it would help loads..

Hello pompadour didn't want to ignore you. It's a bit hard to help without knowing what area you are moving to. Alverstoke is nice but also the most expensive area in Gosport. Come and join our thread (A warm welcome to Hampshire and Ilse of Wight) we are all local to Gosport, Fareham and Portsmouth. Would be lovely to meet up when you move here.
