DD is primary 6 and been going to after school club full time since P1. I think the after school club is very good but she's getting a bit fed up with it as it is mostly P1-3 children and she has no good friends there. Monday to Thursday she can tolerate but Friday afternoons are so long - they break up at 12:25 and I collect her from there at 5:30. She hasn't been the last two Fridays as DH has had time off work and is now really not keen to go tomorrow. I've told her she needs to go (we have no other option!) but that'll I'll look at other options
Would a child minder be better? Or should I try to find a responsible teenager who could come to the house?
Any advice much appreciated!
