I would like to know too. Just moved to Brighton and have 16 year old daughter who wants to babysit.

I pay £5 an hour to an 18-year-old across the road.

DS2's nursery staff charge abut £7.50 an hour to babysit

It's too much frankly, especially as many of them also need a cab fare home

My childminders charges £5/hour plus taxi home.

Hi, I live in the Fiveways area and at 30 weeks pregnant am looking to offer babysitting / with ironing / or gentle cleaning. £5ph if just babysitting, £8.50ph if including ironing, have own car so no need for taxi home. Just been made redundant so trying to occupy myself before baby comes. Can do ANY daytime or evening.

We'd be interested in using you to baby-sit and only live in Springfield Road. Have delightful - really! - 5 and 10 yr old so not too much work. Do you have any references we could take up?
