Can anyone recommend a cub pack in Preston Park/7 Dials/centralish Brighton area?

I'm looking for a pack where standards of behaviour are good and there is no/very little bullying. My son has been attending a pack where there seems to be little control over behaviour and I would like to move him. Discussions with the Archaela produced the defensive reaction that it must be my son's problem, not theirs. Thanks

Karen, sorry I can't help with your query, but I know if you google the scouting association, they have some sort of a pack-finder facility. I don't think there are that many though . What about Sea Scouts, or is your DS too young ?

Out of interest (and as a parent of a Brighton cub), could you give a clue as to which pack your DS is currently attending - I have an inkling I know which one it might be, and why .

Hi there Brightonton, the pack I'm talking about is in a Methodist Church Hall not a million miles from Preston Park. It would be useful if it is the same one you know about, to know I am not alone...

Ok, my DS doesn't actually attend that pack, but I do know some children who do (two in particular) who have some history of rather ahem, boisterous behaviour, and one of whom is currently being accused of bullying at school...

Theres one that runs at Dorset Gardens Methodist Church, sort of opposite Amex, & off St James street, so pretty central, they might have space too, as my DD has just turned one down.......though we did find the new pack leader, it a bit full on so be prepared for that
