Hi all - I'm new to Mumsnet, having had it recommended to me by a friend over the weekend. I'm finding it a bit difficult to navigate, but I'll get used to it soon.:)

I am a registered childminder, and would like to advertise vacancies on here. Could someone 'in the know' tell me how to go about it please?

Repost on the Childminders Nannies and AuPairs section, you might get more response there as it's a busier section.

Where abouts are you in Portsmouth/IOW? Could you tell me where you've advertised already so I could see if I could recommend any more places?

I'm in Gosport. I've advertised in all the local primary and pre-schools, and local shops. I've also posted a profile with vacancies on childcare.co.uk and on the official government vacancy lists. I'm in the process of setting up a webpage, and a facebook page...

All I need now are children... lol
