Due April 2011 - Want to join good yoga/ group excercise class

Hiya, I'm due in April 2011 (11 weeks pg currently) and am hoping to join a good yoga/ group excercise class for pregnancy.

I live in Wimbledon but don't know too many people in the viscinity. I was wondering if anyone else is around the same dates as I am and would be interested in joining yoga or group excercise classes.

I have identified a few good ones locally and am hoping to find some company. Would love to have someone to share things with locally.

Thank you.

If you google "Sue Lewis" you'll find her website, she runs a post natal exercise class at st mary's, she is brilliant and lots of people who are at the same stage! She has a creche with experienced ladies who look after the babies while you get on.

Also benditlikelisa she runs a pre-natal yoga class where you will meet plenty of people! A lovely hour on a saturday morning!

Buggyfit - takes place in all the parks and is great to get out to!

Good luck!

Maternally fit do a class in Wimbledon - it's a great workout and run by physios so they know what they are talking about re posture, pelvic floor etc.
See www.maternallyfit.co.uk/ I'm due in December and have found the class really helpful...

If you want yoga then Katy Appleton's classes are fab.

I expect you've found somewhere by now, but for anyone else looking for pre natal yoga I second Felicity10 - Lisa Askem's classes are fantastic, benditlikelisa.co.uk

I go to Sue Lewis' classes at St Marys church, Wimbledon village, I cannot recommend them enough!! I am on my second child and second set of classes, I just can't get enough, my son is coming up to 9 months now and I am still totally addicted to Sue's classes, they are as appropriate now as they were when I first attended, just a week after giving birth! What is so great, apart from a good work out, is that your baby is looked after within the same vicinity by the best nannies any Mother could wish to meet. Please don't hesitate to contact me if you want any more insider info, otherwise Sue's website is: www.suelewisantenatal.co.uk
