It's on the way to the seaside. The town centre has been ripped apart and there is a massive Tescos. Very good car boot sale at the weekend.

hi, i moved in early october. it is a nice little town, people always say hello. i see what you mean about the high st, its quite depressing. i wonder what it will be like when my ds grows up. i also worry about the library & public transport. well, on the plus side, the children centre is great & we're very lucky to have all the schools on our doorstep. the car boot is very good too. they've made it accessable if you're walking.

Nice Dr
Nice Library
Good farmers market every other week

The main street is starting to recover, there are some nice little shops but too many 'services' imo

Happing is an organisation which is working to improve the area & the church is quite active

I was talking to a Stalham resident yesterday who was saying what a nice town Centre North Walsham had instead (I'm afraid that's a bit of an indictment).
The big car boot sale is only on during warmer months, I think?! Not mid-winter, definitely.
Sports Centre has lots of good activities for children in the holidays (not free).

Sea Palling is a brilliant beach just up the road.
