I think one of those nights will be the rugby club's hallowe'en party, but I don't know which one yet.

weegiemum · 10/09/2010 15:05

If it is the Rugby Club Hallowe'en night my kids will also be involved (play at same club as pb's ds).

But I would love to come - seems there are a few Glasgow newbies recently so it would be great to meet, esp before we get drunk on travel together on the train to the CHristmas do in Edinburgh!

StayingDavidTennantsGirl · 10/09/2010 15:51

I might be able to come, but some friends are coming up to visit towards the end of October but we haven't set a date yet.

Can I leave it that if this goes ahead, and if I'm free, I'd love to come?

seb1 · 10/09/2010 16:29

I might be able to make that.

MummyO3 · 10/09/2010 17:13

if there is another date that people think would be better suited just leave it on here, :) would be fab to meet everyone :)

Sounds like a good idea ladies but will need to confirm nearer the time

RedHairedGirlie · 11/09/2010 08:08

I could maybe do a night the weekend before or after as have visitors that weekend.. Smile

prettybird · 21/09/2010 18:09

This seems to have petered out.

Anyone still interested? :)

BTW: The Scottish Musmnet Christmas nightout has been provisionally confirmed as 4 December in Ediburgh - exactly where still to be decided.

bethjeff · 21/09/2010 19:36

You know town will be MOBBED that weekend as it's Halloween.

But I'd be game. Not on the Saturday though- halloween parties and whatnot.

If anyone is worried about having to wait around in the cold/wet/general public for a taxi to get them home do not worry as you'd be more than welcome to hail one from my place of abode. (City Centre).

prettybird · 21/09/2010 19:46

Think that that weekend was part of the problem (maybe 'cos of hallowe'en parties Wink) so maybe looking for other suggestions

bethjeff · 21/09/2010 20:22

What about the weekend previous to that?

If anyone would like to turn up in costume then they would still be more than welcome Grin

colie · 21/09/2010 21:41

I would come on any date other than the weekend before. I am going away that weekend. I realise there is never going to be a date that suits everyone, so will hopefully meet you all at the scottish xmas night out.

prettybird · 22/09/2010 09:49

Colie (and others): register your interest on the "Christmas night out" thread over here

soz im just replying was away all weekend. Ideally tickets are bought before hand but say for instance some people wanted to come on the night it would be ok just to pay upstairs. The reason for this is just so I know how many people are attending as I wouldnt want people to turn up and then the hall was full. We are doing raffles and football cards and there is a dj playing. Had a night in April 2009 and it was fantastic. Raised about £1250 and it was really busy so hopefully raise some more this time :) feel free to txt me or that if u want anymore info just incase i take too long to respond again :P xXx
