Just wondering if there are any other Merton mums who are consdering going back to work part-time but are finding childcare costs prohibitive?
I'm getting to the stage where I need to bring in some extra cash but find it will be swallowed up by childcare costs. Also, I'm really not keen on putting my 18 month old in a nursery and know that really great childminders are hard to find, which is part of the reason why I chose to be a SAHM in the first place.
I'm looking to do some freelance stuff from home but with a little one who doesn't nap for long it's hard to get things done. So I had a brainwave that if I could find somone in a similar position perhaps we could do some kind of free childcare swap in each other's homes.
