Maud's Baby Show

Hi Everyone
I went to Maud's Baby Show at the weekend and had a really good time. I thought it was very well organised and covered a good range of products and had plenty of information on hand. Did anyone else go at the weekedn? If so wondered what other people thought about it? J

I went and wasn't massively impressed but then I found every bridal show I went to a bit dull

I really did appreciate the opportunity to speak to someone at the NCT stall and to a lady on the bra stall about breastfeeding support. Also really good to speak to the people on the re-usable Nappy stalls and to see how they work.

I think a lot of the stalls were just selling or pushing pointless stuff, for example the kids party stuff, baby jewelry and wills (!) but then I am not really into that kind of thing.

I think it would have been great to have more stuff promoting breastfeeding. Also I noticed that much of the baby food stuff given away said that you could use it from 4 months when I was under the impression that weaning was recommended at 6 months not 4.

I know my SIL was disappointed that there wan't more stuff on different prams/trave systems etc.
