Can anyone recommend a cleaner?

Hello All - hope everyone is doing well?

I haven't posted on here for ages as real life has taken over.

However I have now realised that I can't balance working, family and all that goes with it - with a clean and freshly hoovered house - so I am looking for a cleaner.
Does anyone have one they recommend or know anyone that does?

I'm probably looking for someone to do a few hours a week just hoovering, polishing, washing the floors and general cleaning.

Yes, she's a lovely lady called Rosanna Henley who has temporarily stopped cleaning for me while I have some home renovations done. She generally charges £35 for 3 hours and is very thorough, reliable and trustworthy. I don't really want to put her number up on here but you can email me on [email protected].

I know Pooter has acleaner. I think she linked to a website with her details on once before...may be worth checking the archives...

Thank you both - I spoke to DH and he seems to think that if we were both more tidy it wouldn't be so overwhelming [hollow laugh]

We are on a month trial :o

I mentioned a cleaner to DH and he said that we could do jobs each evening. He spent a week doing just that and we had a clean house...for a week...after that we are back to living in a pit!

I have a lovely Columbian lady who is soooo brilliant - she even pulls out radiator covers and vacuums behind them - but sdaly she is fully booked as she gets jobs word of mouth - even has a waiting list!

Mine is only £7 per hour - got her through a cleaning company based in Coggeshall - Busy Dusters in Coggeshall is also fab - one of my friend's has them and the boss is a right one for making sure everything is done to the letter - her cleaners are super efficient and daren't leave a speck of dust anywhere!

:( about your lovely lady being booked up - I've found the website that pooter recommended - I think I'll go ahead any get a quote anyway as I'm not convinced this month is going to be successful Wink

I can really recommend Lisa from Clean in Time - she always goes the extra mile - today for example she came over at 9pm because last night i had attempted to use my carpet cleaner, managed to spray the fluid all over the carpet then the machine packed up. I couldnt let the kids in the room all day.

Lisa was booked up, but came in the evening for me. What a star. Actually her husband did the carpet cleaning whilst lisa and i had a chat and a cup of tea. Smile
