how do I find a childminder

I need to organise a childminder for the afternoons only as my dd will be at pre-school in the morning. They will also need to pick her up from pre-school and most likely drop her off. I am so confused and don't know where to start with this!!

Try this website - it's where I found my wonderful CM some 6 years ago.

I went on the direct gov website and rang around the childminders who had spaces.

here

we've got a great CM who takes DS 2 days a week - he's happy there, and she's really good with him.

thanks all... I will look at the websites suggested. Dd2 starts pre-school tomorrow so I'm hoping to ask someone who can help me. I'm finding the whole system complicated Confused.
