Camera Obscura?

We live in Glasgow, but was wondering whether it was worth a trip across?

Ds is 3 1/2 but really into machines, buttons etc - Loves science centre type things?

The Camera Obscura is fun, but not worth the trip (during the Festival! ) on it's own. How about Dynamic Earth too? It's fairly well-reviewed.

DP (from Edinburgh) said Dynamic Earth too (without reading OldLady's post).

He says the Botanics sometimes has stuff on for kids, and the National Museum has lots of sciencey things / lots of buttons to press.
