Richmond NCT Nearly New Sale - grab a bargain/make some cash

We are having a Nearly New Sale at The Barn Church, Atwood Avenue, Kew on Saturday 11th September.

There are still spaces if you have stuff to sell (you get to keep the cash less a commission for selling it which goes to charity) just email Emma at [email protected]

And if you need a baby/maternity/nursery bargain come along! The sale is 1.15-3pm.

I just have a couple of items to sell - can I do that without paying the £25 you used to charge?

My items aren't worth that much.

Yes you can! We take a small commission per item so you just let us know how many labels you need. You can even sell just one item if you want - like a pushchair or cot or even just a few baby clothes.

When's the next one?

That's great ManicMummy. We had lots more buyers than we expected so we're going to tweek the format to make it even better. I think the drill for sellers will be the same though.

Next Sale is Saturday 6th November, same venue BUT different time. It will be in the morning at 10.45am (NCT members from 10.30am)

I a totally new to this but I want to try and sell a few items - how does it work do I have to pre register or just turn up?

You need to pre-register because space is limited - but I'm sure Emma's still accepting registrations. Email her at [email protected] for full details. She's very helpful.

I sold a few bits myself at the last sale. You'll need to tag everything up in advance because the sale is laid out like a shop. If you stick around to help with the sale you pay less commission on your sales to NCT... AND because all volunteers get first dibs you can snap up lots of lovely bargains!

It doesn't matter if you're not a member. Everyone's welcome at the sales and to sell

There are TWICE as many sellers as the last sale and we've made a few changes to make the sale better for shoppers. There is also a cafe so you can reward your thrifty ways with a cup of tea!

It was brilliant! We could have accommodated a few more shoppers as we had loads of bargains but new layout and organisation worked very well. Very proud and thanks to all our wonderful buyers, sellers & volunteers who have helped raise lots of cash for the postnatal helpline.
