Is it just me or do the Birmingham Librry plans look like a building with fishnet tights stretched over it?

Does it? I haven't seen the plans.

Surely it still must be an improvement on the multi-storey-car-park look they went for last time?
Every time I walk round that corner from Victoria Square I just marvel at the WTF?! hideousness of it...
