Can someone define "Bear Flat" Streets for me?

Rightmove has a new function where you can put in search parameters on the map and search for houses there.

Am I right in thinking Bearflat is either side of Wells way? How far to left and right and up and down do you think? (I know its vague but am wondering if I made my square too big as lots of oldfield park houses are coming up!

I might be wrong but I thought Bear Flat was on the left hand side of Wellsway (as you are coming out of town, in between Holloway and Greenway Lane. Like I say, I might be completely wrong though!!

Docket is right. Bear Flat is the area between Holloway and Greenway Lane and includes all the roads running up the hill to Alexandra Park on Beechen Cliff. I would also include Wellsway as far up as the Devonshire Arms, Bloomfield Rd up to Englishcombe Lane, and Bloomfield Avenue (on the right had side of Wellsway, behind the Bear pub).

Can you tell I'm a local? .

Cept we probably can't afford a 4 bed in the area but can a 3 bed but we were hoping to "future proof" this move so that hopefully have enough room for DC's to grow up in, but hey they can share. :)

There are a couple of houses on the newbuild estate that look okay- anyone know anything about the estate?

BTW a lot of the houses on the Poet's Corner streets have scope for extending into the loft for future proofing.

Not sure which new build estate you mean? do you mean Bloomfield Park/Hatfield Road sort of area. If so, there are quite a lot of families in these.
