Just wondering who's around here - reckon there must be LOADS of MNers in the area
Look forward to hearing from you.

Hey I'm one of them - well, still new...really - it is still early days for me, nearly 10wks so LOOONG WAY TO GO!

champagnesupernova · 10/08/2010 13:04

Congratulations! I'm 26weeks with DC2
how are you feeling? Whereabouts are you?
I'm not in BS itself but a village a bit further out.

Thanks - not feeling particularly great to be honest - but the end is worth it :)
Yes I'm in BS (well most of the time I'm at work really!)

Buffty · 23/08/2010 08:54

Hello, I also live near BS.

champagnesupernova · 24/08/2010 07:29

Hello there BUffty
how are we all doing?

Hi Champagne, I'm fine thanks. Just having 5 mins peace and quiet before my little boy wakes up. He's teething at the moment so we've had a few interesting nights recently.

How are you?

ShellyTee · 27/08/2010 23:09

Hi Champagne, I live in central Stortford. Expecting in a week! fingers crossed.

CakeandRoses · 11/09/2010 09:25

Hello from me too, I also live bang in the middle of BS.

Ooooh, I wonder if I know any of you in RL?

champagnesupernova · 20/09/2010 18:15

This dropped off my "threads I'm on"
How are you all doing? I live just outside BS
Shelly - what did you have?

kveta · 07/10/2010 12:22

ooh, me too, live near the rhodes centre :) 1 DS who's 1

am988 · 07/10/2010 17:13

Hi there! Yes, champagne, they dropped the 'threads i'm in too' - I thought the thread had died or something - I could not find it again until today. HOw are you all doing? I'm nearly 18 wks. Long way but getting there. Most of the mums here must have had their babies now? x A

kveta · 08/10/2010 12:40

I'll just bump this in case there are any more out there :o

I have been convinced that there are mumsnetters in Jackson square a couple of times, there was one mum dressed head to toe in boden (by the looks of things) and I wanted to sidle up to her and say 'mumsnet much?' sotto voce.

champagnesupernova · 08/10/2010 13:14

LOL Kveta - there definitely should be a secret handshake or something. I remember ages ago there was talk of being a badge for buggies or something. Grin

I don't know much of the residential parts of BS itself - am expecting DC2 in the next 6 weeks or so which I am excited and terrified about in equal measure. Off on Mat Leave at the end of the month which I'm quite excited about.

Have a DS who's 2.5.

well if any of you see me, feel free to stop and talk to the large woman pushing a small blond curly haired boy in a black britax vigour 3+ pushchair (I haven't seen any others with blond children in them, so we're pretty unique in town in that respect!) :o commonly seen in the park, the library, or sainsburys, but not M+S cafe since the incident with the hot chocolate and the paramedics. and police. Blush :o

good luck with DC2!
