indoor beach at hamleys

Got a few buckets and spades, beach balls etc. Kids allowed in to have a play, and at certain times they are doing events in it. Also zoolab are on in hamleys at certain times - I didnt write it down but I guess you could pohone if interested.

Train in to town, coffee and cake at costa and then a play in hamleys killed a rainy morning! Giant connect 4 is up. And the wee toys for little ones to play with. You just have to put up with the "pleeeeease can you buy me that £150 hello kitty doll that I dont actually need but really really want now?" I saw a £1800 Noahs ark in Hamleys today - I nearly passed out!

Where is Hamleys in Glasgow? I didn't even know there was one.

Desperately trying to think of things to do in this godawful weather. There's only so much soft play a girl can take.

Upstairs in st enochs centre. See the thread about Glasgow stuff by public transport for some ideas on free stuff, I linked to the zest webside on it. Although need to check if the council workers have stopped striking yet!

Thanks, will check that out. I think the strike is going on - Kelvingrove was shut this afternoon anyway, and I noticed a few Unison placards outside. We were there a few weeks ago and chatting to one of the pickets - it's pretty shocking what the council are up to, by the sounds of things.
