Are you up for it?

Hi AdoraBelle. Just saw this. Whereabouts are you? Like the name, btw.

cryhavoc · 05/08/2010 14:46

Me!

TonariNoTotoro · 05/08/2010 15:02

Oh maybe, where are you all?

I'm in Sutton Courtenay ( just south of Abingdon). Hi cryhavoc - did I know you under another MN name, perchance?

azazello · 07/08/2010 21:03

Hiya, I'm up for meeting. I'm just north of Oxford but able/happy to travel. I think I've seen you on the running thread Goldberry!

greensnail · 07/08/2010 21:06

Ooh, can I come too? I'm also in Sutton Courtenay.

Goldberry · 07/08/2010 21:20

Yup, that'll be me, Azazello. Had a bit of a lapse, but am now supposed to be doing my first 10k in September. Gulp!
Hi greensnail - another Suttoner eh? We've probably walked past each other at some point!
So, folks, where shall we meet? Abingdon? Oxford? I wonder whereabouts AdoraBelle is, since she suggested the meet-up.

cryhavoc · 07/08/2010 21:37

Sorry, Goldberry...realised that I have name-changed. Was Ffrecklefface.

I'm in Benson, happy to travel. How old are everyone's DC? I have a 2.5 DD. How about a picnic at Millets or maybe Abbey Meadows?

Goldberry · 07/08/2010 21:42

Ah, thought so! I checked your profile and was pretty sure I recognised mini Ffrecklefface (or mini cryhavoc) from the photos. Not quite so mini now though - how she's grown! Picnic at Millets sounds great. We could all get lost in the Maize Maze Grin.

greensnail · 07/08/2010 21:43

Mine are 19mo and 10 weeks. Millets or Abbey Meadows would be good for us.

Goldberry - we probably have, although I've had a quick squint at your profile and don't think I recognise you!

Goldberry · 07/08/2010 22:06

Likewise, greensnail Smile Crikey - 19 mo and 10 weeks. Makes me tired just thinking about it! Mine are nearly 5 and 2.4. And pretty tiring in their own little ways.
DS (2.4)would be keen on an Abingdon meet-up as he informed me this evening 'Mummy I am going to Abingdon , where all the strange wolfs are', adding 'I'd better get going now and see those wolfs'. Hmm

greensnail · 08/08/2010 14:12

Yes, its pretty exhausting. I need to get out of the house a lot to keep me vaguely sane. Will keep an eye out for wolfs next time i'm in Abingdon then.

Goldberry · 09/08/2010 19:30

Ok then. How about a picnic at Millets some time this week or next week? I can do this Thurs or Fri, or next Mon, Tue or Thurs. How about you lot?

azazello · 09/08/2010 20:25

I can do thursday or friday this week or tuesday next. Millets sounds good.

greensnail · 10/08/2010 20:03

oh no, I already have plans on thurs and fri and then am away next week. Maybe I'll just need to join you all next time. I'm never normally so busy!

Goldberry · 10/08/2010 21:22

That's a shame, Greensnail! Although we could always meet up some time at the swings in Sutton Courtenay if you like. My ds is definitely in need of much opportunity to run off excess energy at the moment!

greensnail · 10/08/2010 21:26

Yes, that would be nice. Which ones do you go to?

Goldberry · 11/08/2010 08:27

I tend to go to the ones at Lady Place. Will undoubtedly be there at some time this afternoon with both kids and MIL as I'll be without a car all day, so will have nowhere else to go! I'll probably be there about 3.45 today. If you're around, I'm the one with the small blond ds, the slightly bigger brunette dd and the hyperactive energetic MIL. Grin

greensnail · 11/08/2010 10:50

ok, might pop down this pm if dd1 isn't asleep!

Goldberry · 19/08/2010 08:19

Hellooooo. Where did everybody go Grin? Anyone still up for a meet-up some time?

greensnail · 19/08/2010 20:12

Hi, sorry we didn't make it to the swings the other day. DD1 was asleep so we couldn't make it down there. Am still up for a meet up. We're away this week, but will be around after that.

ReshapeWhileDamp · 19/08/2010 23:39

Hello! I've been really rubbish about keeping up with MN local. Blush I used to be MamaGoblin (Benson). I'm up for a meet-up in Abingdon or Millets, if there's another one planned? Or a picnic in Wallingford Castle Gardens, it's nice when it actually stops raining... Hmm

Is anyone going to the Bunkfest, btw? Wallingford, first weekend in september. It's usually great for children and there's free music, and beer (sadly not free beer).
