weekend baby activities

hi i've just moved to St helens, i dont know anbody and am starting to get very down about not haveing anyone other than my 9 nearly 10 month DD to talk to. I work 9-5 monday - friday, does anyone know of any weekend mother and toddler group or anything i can go to? hopefully meet some people and make some friends

hiya, have you been to any sure start centres?they are brilliant!lots to do wit your little one. im also alone a lot with my 9mo DS. im not far from you 20min bus journey
