I bet that will be busy!

I might pop along if I have time but I still have three half read books upstairs that I just cannot finish.

You know there's a FREE english book exchange run in Brussels right?

Stonemanor are eeeeeeveeeeel!

belgo · 04/05/2010 21:24

No I didn't know that Skihorse! Where is it?

Portofino · 04/05/2010 21:36

There's a Bookswappers club at the Archiduc pub in Brussels once a month I believe. I can never be bothered to go BACK in to Brussels after work. Belgo, I have LOADS of books - could probably run my own club .

I have the day off on 14th May after the BH. If anyone fancies coming for coffee/cake/wine and doing a bit of free bookswapping, you are more than welcome....

That sounds like a good idea! I'll need to check what buses are running on that day.

Portofino · 04/05/2010 21:48

Should be a normal working day - though dd's school is closed.

bellisima - did you ever get added to the list for Meet Ups? I volunteered to be a Tsarina so we could get something going on the local site. Must check with MNHQ....

Portofino - in fact I've been back in the UK for the past seven years. However - funny you should ask - might well be working at least three days a week back in Brussels from September. Just sorting out possible jobs now.

Portofino · 17/05/2010 19:29

I must be confusing you with someone else !

Ah yes - I think there's another 'Belgian' with Belle in the name!
