My BBC Entertainment (formerly BBC Prime) smartcard has given up the ghost. Too many years of being yanked carelessly out of the decoder, too many little sticky fingerprints, etc. It stopped working last week.
I have emailed the BBC about getting a replacement card but haven't been able to get a reply out of them, and I'm getting desperate (local TV too dire to contemplate).
Does anyone have any experience of getting replacement cards from the BBC and care to share how they did it?
