Can Anyone in Germany help me re Baby Strumpfhosen and sizes?

After a thread here where posters said that it is much more the norm for baby boys to wear tights in winter in Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, I looked on German websites ( and yes, I know Germay is central Europe but I speak a little German and no Swedish, or any language from East of Germany!) and found loads of boy-suitable tights in all sorts of colours. But the sizes are puzzling me. Ds4 is 20 months, his 18-24 month clothes say they are for size 104cm but tights that size appear to be for a 3-4 year old? Anyone any idea what size I need?

My DD is 30m, quite big for her age and size 98-104 tights are pretty generous on her now. I would go for 86-92, which I think DD was in last winter.

my ds2 is 3.5 and only just getting out of 104cm clothes in fact most still fit him!
i agree with romaniabound and would get 92cm ones or 98cm if they had them!

just measure you're ds - the clothes are just based on height and are often pretty accurate!
