Anyone in/near Lausanne?

There may be a job for me there. DH is sahp at the moment, though hoping to go back to work when ds2 starts school, and ds1 has Aspergers. Would this set-up be wildly unconventional in Switzerland, and does anyone have any sense of how Lausanne schools might handle the AS? We like the idea of living there and speak good French.
