I'm starting a thread as suggested by Superloopy, as we are planning our next night out. We were wondering if there were any Melbourne Newbies (or Old-bies too!) that might like to be in our gang

So far, the date is set for Sat 14th March. Venue to be arranged. We normally meet for drinks and dinner, and have been known to wander around our gorgeous city / go to the casino / talk until the wee hours.

I think that somewhere along South bank is probably best as it is a pretty central place for us to all get to.

Oh yes it's still on. A week on friday if I am right ?? Wilbs and I will be there at 9am . Only joking, but it will be as soon as we can get out of the house .
I cannot help as far as venues go as don't know anywhere but hopefully soon will.

I spoke to ghosty today and sadly she won't be able to make it on the 14th.

But that means we will have to organise another meet up soon!!

I am going to start seriously interrogating people and find us a good venue asap then we can get organised!

Well, from chatting to people in my area (via the dreaded facebook) it seems that a few people can't make it. Now, I am a lush and very happy to go for a drink locally, ie Echt and maybe Wilbs can make it after a school thing. Let me know what you think. Also would love to meet up with you during the day as well.

Yes, I live Hampton but Sandringham end, and can easy make the brown cow. Spoke to Wilbs today and she is up for it as well. Will contact melbournemum and see if she can too. I will be in touch.
