...Me and DP are thinking of a move to Melbourne. He has family there. My mum would like to come, (we are very close). How easy would this be for her? She is in early fifties and works in admin.

We know nothing!! Thanks!!

Not 100% sure but its based on points system, we have just got our visa's, my uncle who lives there sponsored us and that meant we needed reduced points, I think it you want to work, unless you do a very skilled job you need to have your visa before you are 40, age does go against you.

However, when we go my Mum would like to go, she is 60 and wouldnt necessarily need to work, and there are various ways as a retired person with her close family out there that she can go.

Either go to the Australian Government website and look at visa requirements, its quite detailed and does help or contact a Migration consultant who would be able to recommend the best way to go.
