Anyone know?

The DC are looking forward to midnight celebrations and wantvfireworks like we had in Germany. Are we going to get into trouble from our neighbours?

And while you are here, do we have to clear the snow off the pavement in front of the house? We had to in Germany.

Yes they do it for New Year and 1st August only - otherwise illegal. Not sure about pavement , we had a caretaker at our complex to do so.

Thanks, Lizs. We got some table fireworks. No sign of the normal ones. Maybe it is not so common in the Geneva area.

There is a big debate going on at the moment whos responsible for the paths in Geneva

Canton say you do it yourself
others say the canton should DO IT
Our caretaker does it
They will probarly have vote on it
The swiss like to vote over ANYTHING[WINK]
