Any advice about choosing a preschool from the other side of the world?

We're moving to NZ soon, ds will need to start preschool only a week or two after we arrive because I'll be starting uni. He has been on lots of waiting lists and has now got two places to choose between. How on earth do I decide without visiting? Do I just go for the closest one and hope for the best?

(Anyone in Christchurch heard anything, good or bad, about either of them? They are a new lollipops educare centre, opening in Jan on Blighs road, and the Fendalton Kindercare centre)

Hi, me and my husband are looking at moving to NZ. Could you tell me how did you start the move? Did you look for a job and then go from there or did you dealt with matters over here first? Ie putting house up for sale and looking for a house in NZ? thanks

I didn't really have any of those problems, I'm a NZ citizen, I'm moving back to go to uni, I don't own a house...basically I just booked flights!
